About us
Carpatic Lamb, a modern slaughterhouse, dedicated exclusively to sheep slaughtering, is designed to meet the European Union regulations in the domain.
The slaugterhouse, opened in October 2006, was built by DUMITRIU family - Mr. Mihai Vili DUMITRIU (d. 2012) the former President of the Patronate of the Romanian Breeders and Exporters of Ovines - PACERO) and Mrs. Stela DUMITRIU.
The slaughterhouse and its facilities cover a total area of 22,000 sqm.
The slaughter line is fully automatized with a production capacity of 300 lambs/hour (cutting line - Bulgarelli, refrigerating tunnel - York).
In order to better satisfy the market's request (quality/delivery term/price), the slaughterhouse has its very own farm, providing usually 18,000 lambs/cycle (S.C. FRANKFURT IMPEX PROD S.R.L.).
The management team of the Carpatic Lamb, led by Mrs. Stela DUMITRIU, has an extensive experience in the sheep breeding, slaughtering and commerce. Carpatic Lamb has also a highly skilled team of technicians, able to slaughter and prepare the lambs according to the customers' requests (Italian style, Greek style, French style, Halal).
